Fortitech, Schenectady, NY, has named Rene Engelhardt senior technical services specialist. He will be responsible for formulating nutrient systems containing vitamins, minerals, amino acids and nutraceutical ingredients for food, beverage and pharmaceutical products, while also providing technical and trouble-shooting support to Fortitech customers. Mr. Engelhardt previously served as senior technical scientist with Abbott Nutrition.
